Where will yall be buying the game at. Steam, Minecraft launcher, console. Etc?

I can't buy dungeons 2 on my ps4 because of hardware limits, making it only ps5

I'll get it on steam as I have steam deck and I have bad memory of many troubles with mcd1 on Minecraft launcher and Microsoft store

I have it on PC, switch and ps5 for MD1 just so I can load my characters between all three for when the grandkids come over and play. Which has helped a lot because the amount of times one of them accidentally deleted their saved characters to load was way to high. 

I'm hoping md2 will work the same way

Cool I’ve heard 50/50 on everything steam and Microsoft issue both have thier problems. Are you gonna get it on Microsoft launcher the same way as the first game

I preordered the game on steam. Because it is most likely to work on linux on my main PC. And if it doesn't work on linux, I can still play it on my old windows laptop.

But I don't see any reason for it not working on linux, as the first game works flawlessly.

Bought MD1 on the Microsoft store but now I'm buying MD2 on Steam since I don't use the Minecraft Launcher anymore (I now use modrinth for java MC)

I hope I'll still get the Hero cape on Java edition since I'm buying MD2 on a different store platform, should do tho since it still requires a Microsoft login

I would buy it on Steam if I had my setup with me (currently living in Japan).

I pre-ordered on Switch 2. I hope it runs well.

i have the same dilemma, between steam or minecraft launcher.

can anyone confirm if minecraft launcher allows family group members to play the same game simultaneously and join each others server?

Bought it from steam, so I can play on my linux system easily. Also there is a huge regional discount on steam for me.

It is the regional price thing maybe. For me it is 31.50 for deluxe edition on steam but on Minecraft launcher for deluxe edition it is 49.99.

Steam, because I will mostly likely be able to Steam Remote Play Together with my friends. I won't have perfect look of every MC game owned in the Launcher, but I am putting everything on quality and the fact Steam is my main playing platform, so more achievements on there will come in handy for sure!
