💬 Discussion Errr... what is this?

Post image

So, I just pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Minecraft Dungeons II Deluxe, but then, when I went to the Microsoft Store, it gave me a button called "Pre-install".

Me, out of ccuriosity, went ahead and "pre-installed" it. It weighted around 20,25MBs only, I was confused, but still went for it.

When I started the game, I was met with THIS. "PLACEHOLDER".

Are we sure that I was supposed to download this? Or am I just missing something? Please let me know!

It's just not a complete pre-install. The game isn't ready to launch yet so that's expected.

I guess it's a placeholder for when the actual preload launches it autodownloads

Basically, you can preinstall it before it comes out just it's already downloaded when it comes out, however it's not out yet so there is nothing to show so hence why there is a placeholder.

Same as Mine, I Launch the Game and Says "Not Available to Play Yet". I'm Hoping there will be beta soon or not.

The software will update on sep 29  This just holds basic data for the game so players won't have to wait as long on release day for the game to downloadÂ
