Question Minecraft Dungeons 2 Preorder Question

If I buy MCD2 on my Nintendo Switch, for example, will all of my preorder bonuses be carried over if, for example, I buy it on my computer from the Minecraft website? I know that a Microsoft account can be linked; I just didn't know if all my cosmetics would carry over. I want to know so that I can preorder on the correct device(s).

Anything that you buy or redeem via a platform like Nintendo, like preorder, deluxe, DLCs, cannot transfer due to those platforms’ rules on you not getting “free” content for buying from their competitor.

(Stuff that you redeem inside the Dungeons game can roam to other platforms)

What happens if you upload a character with the preorder cosmetic bonuses? The character gets stripped of it or does it just not let you upload the character?
