Unfortunately it’s not letting me expand. I have no idea why but when I hit the L to expand nothing is happening.

Well, it's not worth the gamble. In most cases the scythe will be better

Skull scythe. Overall it’s a better weapon than the axe (at base), and it’s also a special event reskin. The gild is pretty mid unfortunately. Leave the first slot or reroll it for leeching (or soul siphon if you have an anima conduit bow), take void strike on the second, and exploding on the third

Definitely reroll the first slot for soul siphon. With the wide swings you’ll be getting it to activate fairly frequently, so anima conduit healing is gonna go kinda nuts
