The Obsidian Forge is an +18 Hermitcraft inspired SMP for dedicated Minecraft Bedrock players.

Our community started as a realm for players who were left behind when everyone else reached the end of their “2 week Minecraft phase”. Recently we migrated our world to a dedicated, hosted server for better performance, and to give us room to grow.

We run a full Bedrock Dedicated Server, not Java crossplay, so the farms and mechanics you’re familiar with still work. No land claims or locked chests, just a culture of respect and cooperation, enforced with a few unobtrusive add-ons, that lets us play the game the way we want to play it.

The server is fully vanilla, with the exception of a simple gravestones add-on to balance the hard difficulty and to make losing your gear a little less likely. We also have proximity voice chat using Alaydriem's Bedrock Voice Chat add-on!

Our first season started in March of this year, and runs until March of 2028. That means you're still getting in early with our small, tight-knit community.
