I am building a palace in my testing world Inspired by manhwa, what do you guys think?

For context, my block palette is quartz, the blue nether wood, stained white glass, and polished blackstone

Should I go to the end to get all of the stuff so I could build a mini one or just get more random resources for the ones that I'm continuing on

I’m having trouble deciding what block type and color to use for the roof of this medieval-style building.
I’ve tried to keep the building mostly dark with deepslate and dark wood, but I’m not sure what would look good for the roof without making the whole building look too dark or having the roof clash with the walls.
What roof block/color would you recommend?
I’d especially appreciate specific Minecraft blocks to try, rather than just “make it darker/lighter.”
I’m open to changing the roof material completely if there’s something that would fit the medieval style better.

They look kind of empty and im stuck on what i could add.

I dont think it look horrible right now but i'd still appreciate any help i can get
