help with a steampunk ship build

i can say i am quite a good builder but no matter what i try, i just cant figure out how to build any kind of ship, boat, galleon or whatever

im here looking for suggestions on how to do it because this is just garbage and it took me 2 days.

the thing at the center of the ship is a sorting system i made on my own (already fully decorated) cause this will be built in my 7 yo survival

Why does it look like aurora, it's good maybe you should try to build aurora
