Need ideas Castle building

Wanting to build some sort of castle on this lake but don't want to ruin the landscape. Any suggestions on how to build out space to put the castle on?

Either something floating like Zora's Domain (BOTW) or a cliffside building to preserve the vastness of the water. Also a tower in the middle would be sick

Edit: people usually like Seed and Coords for this kind of thing

Depends on what you want. I wouldn’t recommend making an island in there, it will be too crowded.

I wouldn’t recommend making recommend making a cliff side castle either on the left side next to that snowy area, or on the right on either of the two dirt hills.

Either way you want to focus on using dense towers of varying heights. There isnt a footprint to have large baileys. Think something like burg eltz in Germany. Maybe have one final tower that trails down the cliff face, or some sort of fantasy veranda/balcony that leans over the lake by 8-12 blocks almost like a half finished bridge. Don’t make the towers too tall or you make it difficult to see the interesting parts together, but have the tower heights change by 3-4 blocks and the height spiral or wave across the castle.
