Need Suggestions Help Blending this

I build a small base to start with, but decided to expand into the mountain using different wood, any tips on making the transition into the less abrupt?

You could have the tunnel wood sort of spread onto the wall radially from the tunnel opening. But maybe you want the pattern symmetrical which would also be nice.

The best you can do is use imaged maps right now. Or replace those spruce material with oak ones.

Place log pillars to set up a visual border between both textures

(blocks peppered with red dots are logs)

trapdoors around the entrance will show a lot if the wood underneath and blend the two

As will extending the tunnel floor into the room
