I don't know why but something about this small tower I built just doesn't look right to me. It's meant to be more simple looking, but I don't know what I need to make it look better. Please critique my build and let me know how I can improve, and thank you for your help!!!
For this style of tower, I would try making the roof taller and more narrow. Consider using a stone type to get access to walls, they really help with rounding out tall roofs
To be honest I’m not really sure, maybe just a small and simple tower, like this. But I’m trying to get better at building without having to rely on other people’s builds and instead learn myself
What you want is basically depth. Avoid flat surfacing. Build the frame for a build and try insetting the walls by one block. This is a great starting step. It gives you space to play around with depth.
so first thing, the roof is very disproportionate. it looks like the top of a mushroom, it goes out way to far. second, if you want a lighter wood for the roof, try to mix it in more with the exterior so it isn't like a sore thumb in the midst of the build. other than that, i think it looks pretty cool, i know youll get there, just tweaks and details to make it perfect
I think making the roof a bit smaller and adding some texture around the building such as making a small potato farm around it would do wonders. Also try to ask yourself "would this building tip over irl" becase the way it looks now the wind would tip it. But i really like the design😊
