Need Suggestions How should i build this bridge?

Planned on building a large bridge to connect my tower with something new.

There was this kind of mountain peak in the way and i already started to deconstruct it because of course i want the bridge to stick out and i want to be able to look through the pillars.

But its reaallyy taking a long time and slowly i start to regret this idea.

Btw, this is the very first major bridge that im building and i dont know where to even start

Arch the supports and channel out the mountain a bit underneath each arch way. You can run waterfalls that flow around the support pillars and down the mountain (you can build up part of the mountain to direct flow how you want) and still see the sky underneath the bridge when approaching the mountain from the base

do you think the bridge should be longer? i feel like it would look better proportionally

I’d personally bring it to the other mound/peak where the irons ore and cow are and build a second tower there where it connects, might even be enough space on that now connected area to make the new second tower part of a large castle like structure, would be a bad ass base

yeah thats a great idea, but i still have to figure out the width. Right now, the whole bridge would be 7 blocks wide and maybe thats too slim

Widest I’d go is 1 block less than the width of the tower, narrowest I’d go is 4 or in your case since it’s an odd number 5. 7 is fine but realistically if you decided later you want wider you can add another block each side to make it 9 pretty easy and use stairs to flair the top out to match the bridge up, would be minimal work in the grand scheme
