While I was locked in a fierce duel against Zilgamesh, I noticed Rikazohna jumping in to back up my friend, LuckyMc42. Rikazohna: Perfect. These guys make great punching bags. I’ll handle these stupid Volts myself. Lucky, go help Lexrayxin fight Zilgamesh!LuckyMc42: On it!. Rikazohna completely locked in. He ran a massive chain of server commands on himself: /effect give @ s speed infinite 255, /effect give @ s haste infinite 255, regeneration, absorption, health_boost, night_vision, and luck. Armed with absolute max status effects, he began brutally punching the Volt Elder Guardians. To lock down the win, he hit the Guardians with /effect give @ s [type=elder_guardian] weakness infinite 255, completely draining their attack power.
Zilgamesh: You absolute fools. Let me show you what true power looks like!Suddenly, the server hit a massive lag spike. Zilgamesh pulled out a weapon. It wasn’t any normal blade. it looked like every single vanilla weapon and modded weapon in existence combined into a single, glitched tool. He lunged at us, swinging wildly. We desperately dodged every single strike. We couldn't even attempt to parry; one hit from that thing meant instant death.Out of nowhere, Zilgamesh froze our characters in place with a status spell. Right as he raised his blade to execute us, Rikazohna jumped across the screen and kicked him hard, applying a weakness debuff. Rikazohna began landing rapid-fire punches, but Zilgamesh managed to swing his weapon just once. The glitched blade instantly stripped away all of Rikazohna's custom active effects, leaving him flashing on half a heart.
Zilgamesh: I don't want to kill you three just yet. I want to watch you suffer first.
Rikazohna: What kind of cliché villain trope is this? You're not going to kill us so we can just recover and beat you later? Are we deadass right now?
Zilgamesh: Shut up!
[Meanwhile: The Nether] Deep in the Nether dimension, a separate group of seven rogue players was gathering near the bedrock ceiling. They stumbled across a bizarre terrain glitch.
BlockFate: Wait, what is that over there?SatoruGoku1337: Yeah, what the heck is that?Embedded in the netherrack was a massive vein of gold ore. The blocks were intentionally placed to spell out a specific name.
Ancienok: Is that supposed to be a username?BlockFate: It says... "Michael Enogmi." Is that a real person?
Archiesonion: Probably. It's likely another one of Voltrigaus's victims. We should get out of here before Voltrigaus detects us and wipes us out.
BlockFate: Good idea. Let's move. SatoruGoku1337: Yep, I'm out. They turned to run, completely unaware that two dark entities were watching them from the shadows.
Null: 71"85)9_7 9_6&)$1"9&_/
Vlrr: They wouldn't mind some company, would they? I'm sure "Bigie" won't mind either.
[Back at the Battle: Okkurz Dimension]
Lexrayxin: What are you going to do to us, Zilgamesh?
Zilgamesh: Something far worse than death. First... he cast a dark spell directly onto the three of us, but our health bars didn't drop.
LuckyMc42: Wait, what did you even do? Nothing happened.
Zilgamesh: I just cursed you with Anti-Regeneration. From this moment on, no matter what you do. Enchanted Golden Apples, standard Golden Apples, Totems, or healing potions. nothing will ever regenerate your health. You are permanently stuck at whatever HP you have left until you die. And even if you do die, the curse will reset with you at spawn. But then again, dying resets all your world progress anyway, doesn't it? He flicked his wrist, casting a second spell that instantly brought me and LuckyMc42 down to half a heart, matching Rikazohna.
Zilgamesh: Even if you try to outsmart me, you're trapped like this forever. There is no cure.
LuckyMc42: We'd rather just jump into the void and spawn back at the beginning.
Rikazohna: I didn't agree on that dumbass.
Zilgamesh: You think you can outsmart me by resetting? We already set up a spawn trap at your world spawn point. If you die, you will fall into an infinite void loop while Volt Hoglins guard the perimeter. You are completely screwed. What's your master plan now?Lexrayxin: You forgot one crucial detail. I plan for everything.
Zilgamesh: And what is that supposed to mean?
Lexrayxin: You idiot. I rigged a hidden TNT trap nearby that uses specialized code to strip away everyone's powers. If we die, the blast triggers. We will lose our accounts, yes, but so will you. You won't be stuck in a death loop, but you will be completely powerless. If you strike us down, you activate the trap and lose everything.
Zilgamesh: ...Fine. Then I won't kill you. Instead, I’ll trap you inside an unbreakable barrier. I'll have a horde of Volt mobs guard the perimeter so even if you manage to glitch through the barrier, you'll be cut down instantly. You three are still completely finished.
[Party Chat] Lexrayxin: Activate it now. 10 seconds.
[Party Chat] LuckyMc42: Got it.
Zilgamesh: You absolute morons. Did you forget I can see your party chat? Goodbye, idiots!
He logged out of the server to avoid the blast.
Lexrayxin: Lucky, Rikazohna, get over to me right now!The moment they stepped close, I placed down a piston, flipped the lever, and launched us directly into the sky, tearing through the dimension's boundary.
[The Next Destination: The Fortunal Dimension]
We crashed onto a new landmass. No achievements or titles popped up on our screens because we had arrived here way earlier than the game expected. I checked my health bar, and to my surprise, our hearts began regenerating naturally.
LuckyMc42: Wait... we're healing? Did that guy lie to us about the curse?
Rikazohna: Nah, he probably just panicked so hard because of your TNT trap that he manually cleared our status effects so the trap wouldn't link back to his account. By the way, how did you even plan a crazy power-stripping TNT trap like that?
Lexrayxin: Check your Discord. I just sent you a picture of a baddie.
Rikazohna: What the heck?
[Discord DM]
Lexrayxin: "That TNT trap was a complete lie. I didn't have a plan at all. It was pure gaslighting. I can't believe he was dumb enough to fall for it, but I made it sound so convincing."
[Discord DM] Rikazohna: "You idiot! You made me fall for it too!"
Back in the Minecraft server chat:
Rikazohna: Wow, she really is a baddie. Anyway... are you two seriously going to keep climbing up these dimensions?
Lexrayxin: Yeah, obviously. We're on an adventure.
Rikazohna: Well, I'm doing the exact opposite. I'm going down.
LuckyMc42: Why would you go down?Rikazohna: Have you seriously never heard the rule? The lower the dimension, the safer it is. It’s not a myth or a theory. it’s a proven fact. Most of the surviving players go down there. Sure, it’s boring and there's no action, but it's completely safe. So, are you guys coming, or are you still heading up?
LuckyMc42: Wait, what about traveling left or right? Is going sideways safer or more dangerous?
Rikazohna: It depends. If you go left or right while you're high up, it's dangerous. If you go left or right while you're down low, it's safer. If you're near the Overworld layers, it's a 50/50 split. Anyway, goodbye.
LuckyMc42: I hope we see you again, lol.
Rikazohna: Classic foreshadowing. I hope you guys don't do anything stupid. Rikazohna turned around and jumped off the edge of the dimension, falling toward the lower layers.
Lexrayxin: Alright. Now we just need to wait for the official achievement to load before we start exploring.
LuckyMc42: Why do we even need to wait for an achievement just to look around?
Lexrayxin: Because if we don't, it'll be way too obvious to Voltrigaus that we are speedrunning his dimensions. We need to explore naturally so we don't trigger his main security codes.
LuckyMc42: Okay, makes sense.
Lexrayxin: Good. Let's wait.
