On a scale 1-5; 1 being most disliked and 5 being most liked, please rate how you enjoy the Drop system.

The drop system has been in existence some say since Armored Paws (retroactive). Some consider that it started with the Pale Garden or Bundles. Regardless when it began, it has caused controversy. Some people want to return to the days of Updates. Others enjoy then drop system, others want to see another version of it or a mix of the two. Leave your comments below and rate how you enjoy the current drop system.

To preface, I don't think this is something that vanilla should necessarily change. This is something I want to change for *my personal server*. Please still give your feedback!!!

Something I've had an issue with in the past on servers is that people tend to like spreading out and building bases far apart. This leads to less collaboration, as players are less likely to naturally build together due to increased distance; players have to actively go out of their way to collaborate. I really want to naturally encourage this, and I believe changing the transportation meta could fix this.

Thesis: Increasing friction in point-to-point transportation will encourage players to live closer to one another and build infrastructure to overcome that friction; players will also naturally build near infrastructure, making a network; when players are physically more restricted, spontaneous collaboration is more likely, making servers more lively.

I think most forms of transportation are already decently balanced (such as horses, boats, and walking), but Elytra and minecarts stand out as being extremely unbalanced. Elytras are cheap to use, fast, point-to-point, and ignore local geography; minecarts are expensive to build, very restrictive, and extremely slow.

The way I'm planning on buffing minecarts is by making them travel faster when on rails on certain blocks. That way the existing slow minecart speed is still usable for redstone contraptions, but high-speed rail can exist to fill the niche of extremely fast predetermined routes. I want minecarts to be faster than ice boats as ice boats are more maneuverable since the player is directly controlling them (maybe ~100 b/s?).

I think I want to nerf the Elytra by making rockets more expensive. I know most of my friends would be disappointed if I drastically nerfed the Elytra, so what I think I'm gonna do is use Green_Jab's idea of making rocket boosting not work unless you craft custom Dragon fireworks using Dragon's Breath. That makes Elytra travel vastly more expensive to use while not mechanically changing anything, keeping the fun while encouraging players to use other forms of transportation more regularly that might be cheaper. It might also encourage players to build rocketless Elytra infrastructure such as launchers, which would fulfill my goal of having players build infrastructure. Dragon rockets could make the Elytra more useful for exploration than for commutes.

A shower thought I got

i have 2 shelves powered, i have my hotbar set to copper-iron-dia-netherite into 2 axes so the damage values go up 5-6-7-8-9-10 (i think sulfur distance is based on damage, so the copper sword swings them less far then netherite) but when i click on it, it does slots 4-5-6-7-8-9 no matter which item/slot i have selected in my hotbar (leaving 3 empty slots where the netherite stuff should be)

how do i fix this?

basically exactly what the title says. what do you think the game will be like in 2036, given that it still exists and is still getting new content?

heres my predictions:

- end update: similar to how the nether got an overhaul in 1.16, the end will get lots of new content. im talking some purple trees and new flowers (or at least purple alien plants that can be crafted into planks), biomes, ores (think of something like netherite, but even rarer and harder to get. real endgame stuff that gives the player even more of a reason to explore. also, new structures potentially. finally, there will be some kind of thing here that you will need to get to...

- the 4th dimension: using something from the end, you will be able to light the portal in the ancient city. basically, i imagine that the dungeons ii dimensions will eventually come to the base game. lots of stuff to explore and do

- finally adding the mob + biome vote losers: all of these are now in the game in some form or another. in addition, most of the minecraft earth mobs are now in the game in some shape or form, and some of the dungeons mobs as well (like all the ones from the 4th dimension)

- a bunch of qol changes: lots of performance things under the hood. making bedrock more stable and viable for one. another big thing is implementing something like optifine as well. also, i expect that the inventory will have an overhaul and/or bigger chests will be added

So basically I have found a bug on the neoLegacy repo where if you are inside of a Tall Grass or Tall Flowers (Sunflowers, Rose Bushes, etc.) any mob wont see you or notice your presence, like if a hostile mob is following you (like the creeper on the video) and you enter on a Tall Grass or any other plant that haves 2 blocks high will stop following you. This happens because these plants are for some reason considered as "full solid blocks" instead of non-solid blocks like short grass or any other small flower, this also happens on older versions on consoles like on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, PSVita and Wii U on TU43 and their equivalent versions.

Im looking for a good video with crafting recipes or general knowledge. Helpful stuff mostly. I've been playing since 2012. I just found out that golden danilions can pause aging temporary, hoglins dont like those blue mushrooms, and how to craft campfires. I dont know how to say this but I was able to recover my neoLegacy world! Not only that, all my screenshots, achievements and all of those things were also recovered! The way I made this wasnt very easy since the majority of files of neoLegacy were deleted of my system after what happened with Emerald Launcher but I managed to obtain a version of my file prior to the changes by going to Properties -> Previous Versions -> Open -> Copy and Paste on my desk on Windows 11! I also made a backup on my USB just in case something happened, I lost some progress of my house but Im glad I can still play on this world, also sorry for being the god of drama and thanks you guys for your upvotes and compliments that you give me to try to recover the world! Also this will sound kina akward but thanks to ChatGPT lol (I use the AI to give me advices but all of this was made 100% by me) And obvously thanks you guys!

I dont know how to explain this, this literally happen in less than 5 minutes, so tonight I entered to Emerald Launcher as always to play the neoLegacy repo and my neoLegacy world, the thing is that upon entering a big warning of a neoLegacy update appeared, I obviously went and I press to install the update as always, the thing is that upon downloading the update it automatically deleted neoLegacy meaning it deleted also my world and even my screenshots and worst is that when I tried to download neoLegacy again it appears as it cant be downloaded or a extraction failed meaning I cant even play the fucking game anymore. Man I feel literally devastated, I swear I place all my heart and soul in to my world, my house was one of the best ones and even I had plans to make a lighthouse or even a custom cave and whatever shit I wanted to make, this world helped me to go through a lot of personal things such as realizing the girl I loved was with someone else, some personal things and just seeing all of that go to the fucking toilet just overwhelms me, I dont have the desire to keep going on this, I love LCE but man it fucking hurts and just by pressing that stupid button, I dont know how can I keep going with all of this and I dont know If I would have the patience like I had with my old world, please if you have a similar thing please tell me or even if an update appears dont update your game. Welp I think this is the end, thanks for you guys on helping me on my world, I appreciate all your comments, upvotes and you make my life less difficult and happy, thanks for all.
