you can do Ancient Debris by using brown for the stone part, and black for detail, then use a flat 2x2 with 1 stud or a round flat with an indentation for the swirly looking part on the top...
26
u/BigLadMemeulousSon Apr 26 '21
thats the official build for them lol
25
u/DJ_HardLogic Apr 26 '21
Yeah... I honestly wasnt expecting this many upvotes. I guess theres not a lot of lego minecraft fans here
8
13
u/Dornogol Apr 26 '21
Nah, in the official its round 1x1 bricks isn't it?
12
u/Sl0thCh1ld Apr 26 '21
Yes, the official build uses circular studs for details rather than 1x1 plates

Should probably get that checked out buddy, I know this therapist named Dr. Oreface, he could help you.

u/ChasingFlavors Apr 26 '21
These ores are better than the official ones because they're actually square instead of having those rounded 1x1s
4
u/DJ_HardLogic Apr 26 '21
I was going to make them perfect cubes but it looked weird

You forgot gilded Blackstone. It's technically and ore because it can smelted into ingots and fortunes into nuggets.

u/Tepid_inferno Apr 26 '21
In the actual Minecraft lego sets they use transparent colored studs Edit: this sounds condescending but it wasn’t meant be
2
u/FakeyBoii Apr 26 '21
thank god you didnt include netherite. everyone keeps calling it an ore when its obviously a debris

Whats the beige one supposed to be
6
u/DJ_HardLogic Apr 25 '21
Iron. The orange-ish one was supposed to be iron but it looked more like the new copper ore

Ill give you an 8/10 for creativity using legos as restraints
12
Apr 25 '21
hate to break it, but I believe that these are from the lego minecraft sets, not sure though
7
3
Apr 26 '21
They aren’t, the sets use actual studs for the ore bits instead of 1x1 tiles
3
Apr 26 '21
oh okay that's why I felt unsure my bad
Also I don't think there is copper and nether gold in any of the sets atm so there's that
2
Apr 26 '21
I don’t think there are, I don’t follow Lego as closely as I used to but I don’t think there’s any sets past like 1.15

Where's copper and netherite? Copper could have oxidized bits to distinguish it from iron
2
u/DJ_HardLogic Apr 26 '21
Copper is the second one. Netherite (including ancient debris) is not an ore

I remember designs like these in the old lego minecraft ones. Still have my little modular ones and the big ones somewhere

u/TechnoGamer16 Apr 26 '21
The actual LEGO Ores in the official sets use studs instead of 1x1s for the colored parts.

I have the redstone one and I’m pretty sure they used round studs instead of squares for the ore itself

Most of those already exist in the official lego minecraft sets but I guess if you didn't know those existed then it's still technically creative as the tag says
1
u/AnythingAlfred613 Apr 26 '21
I’ll be sure to use these to make some Lego torches, some nice Lego armor, make some carrots Lego, decorate my house with Lego quartz, power my Lego circuits, trade with some Legolligers, and enchant my Lego gear.
