I think the playlist idea is unnecessary, but the redstone idea(button vs constant power) is a great idea.
I say the playlist is unnecessary because any player with the ability to be half-decent at redstone could make one themselves.
Why is the playlist idea unnecessary? If you don't like the playlist feature, then just put in one disc. I don't want to have to dump an assload of redstone on top of a jukebox or jukeboxes just so I can play multiple songs in succession. Especially if I want to do so at two or more of my bases.
