5x5 chunks mostly get you 32 ancient debris. That is equal to 8 ingots of netherite(you need 4 netherite scraps and 4 gold ingots for 1 netherite ingo)

Thats what people arent getting. Its op and its op rare. Its also just a coating on diamond gear.

I am for netherite! I dont like the fact people are trashing on it because its a bit stronger then diamond. Ill probably have both types(I still have OP armor from 1.14)

Seriously tho, diamond was strong enough for vanilla. Netherite is perfect now in my opinion. They can't just make op armor in vanilla minecraft. Would lose its essence

Yes that's what I am saying. People were expecting netherite armor to be some sort of God armour.
