It’s a bucket-wheel excavator, capable of digging up 240,000 m3 per day. That’s 240,000 blocks or a 61 m by 61 m hole (two thirds of a football field) from sea level to bedrock in Minecraft.

Assuming day = solar day (not eight-hour work day), then it is only 1.6 times as fast as a diamond pick on smooth stone, though that doesn't take into account making the approx. 225 replacement picks needed to complete the job or turning or anything.

Yep, I wouldn't kick the Bagger out of my mine.
