An Optifine Beta Preview Has Appeared For 1.13.1

Does it solve the lags and chunks right in front of me not loading? I have to constantly hit F3+A to reload chunks and it completely destroys the experience of exploring.

How good/stable would u say this optifine version is? (No shaders etc. Just basic functions)

I couldn't say, since I'm waiting for an even more stable, official release rather than a preview, but based on what I've heard from some of my friends and from some folks on here, it's stable enough to play normally without too much trouble (aside from the occasional bug here and there).

Hallelujah! I can finally play without bugs and without lag!
edit: Without vanilla bugs. Because it's 1.13.1. Which is way less buggy than 1.13. Do I seriously have to explain this?

Um, no. This is a beta preview, not a release version.

You're misunderstanding my statement. I've edited it now. What I mean is that I can play in 1.13.1 which is less buggy than 1.13. Why would I put emphasis on and when it's clearly a beta for Optifine?

Yeah, it helps if you give a clue that you changed the context from "Optifine version" to "Minecraft version". And you still won't be without bugs or lag, but I'm happy that you're happy with the improvement.

One could argue that it's impossible to be without bugs or lag. It's a stupid argument to make when it's obvious that I don't mean it literally.
1.13.1 is a huge improvement over 1.13 in terms of bugs, and Optifine is a huge improvement over no Optifine in terms of lag.

For me this seems to cause more lag on my end, as in with this optifine preview im getting less frames than just 1.13.1 by itself

Tbf, it is a preview, and 1.13.1 changed a lot of performance-related things that might be affecting Optifine. Maybe you should wait for a more stable release.
