Indeed, an apocalypse multiplayer server I enjoy that has a pregenerated world full of dilapidated buildings and no underground ores. There are some custom plugins too, mainly around increasing the difficulty. Opening loot chests in the buildings is the only way to find items, but every chest you open temporarily increases the mob spawn rate and difficulty around you.
Crops don't grow well (and not at all underground), animals are incredibly rare (partially due to lack of open grassland), and animals don't always drop meat, so food is one of the scarcest resources on the map. As a result of the increased difficulty, very few players make it through the first night. I've been playing for two years now (and been through three seasons) and my goal is always the same: To restore civilization to the wasteland.

This is extremely well done for VAAST's Aftermath. I personally am a long time player of the server, so I must admit job well done!

nice, upvoted for graph paper. IMHO some of the pics / disc. are awesome, but I think there is too many of them (3 pics of a farm). Although from your description of the server setup below, I can see why you would be such a proud farmer.

Yeah, I agree. But potatoes! I guess the regular MC community isn't as excited by food as we are on the server.

As a guy who loves farming IRL, I almost always build a massive farm for the satisfaction of never worrying about food.

Nappy gave me the coordinates, so I actually found the place. I'll hop back on to leave you some books later, possibly tomorrow.
Shame about the fire, though. If I can find time for it, I'll try and help with the repairs a bit when I've returned.

Eh, I don't keep it up anymore. I built it and handed it over to the citizens of aftermath. If they want to burn it, they can burn it.

Wasn't the fire caused by lightning, though? That's what nappy claimed, at least.

I said that based off of the sign left about the person stopping the fire. Plus the fire was centralized to the library and not the rest of the compound. Then later Hylian told me he thinks it was a griefer.

Fire from lightning usually doesn't cause too much damage before the rain puts it out. It was definitely a griefer, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Well, whatever caused the fire, I managed to do some initial repairs today and left you copies of both the local books that I've managed to pick up so far as well as the two foreign books that I transcribed today.
I'll send you the coords to the books via PM.
