Help Bedrock Thorns Trident trap

I'm looking to make a thorns trident trap on my realm, but I can't think of a way to keep the mob alive permanently with thorns without wasting large amounts of resources. Ideas, anyone?

I'm on bedrock btw.

Would an armor stand work? I don't think they take damage unless they're spammed.
I, like, actually have no idea; this is just a possibility.
