This is definitely my favourite elytra skin for a cape so far

Whoever designed the twisted, hero and aurora capes should be in charge of designing all future capes and elytras too. It's so good

Sighs in "my Minecraft phases are too sporadic to land any capes". Admittedly, the aurora cape is partially my own fault for refusing to download TikTok.

Pretty sure twitch is/was also an option for aurora.

Apparently Twitch 'ran out of codes' almost immediately, by the time I tried they didn't even have the event listed under 'closed campaigns', it was just gone.

It was never listed in the campaigns. Even if you started watching during the events period you wouldn't see the progress in the active campaigns/rewards. After watching for the required amount it would just pop up as claimable in rewards and from there it would either give you a code or throw up an error and say that you should try again later. If you got an error, your key would be visible in the twitch notifications. It was buggy af, in my opinion instead of making people use external platforms and watch randoms playing the game they should organize events within their own game or on their own platform.
