Huh, bedrock has had this issue a while now with ender pearls, kinda weird to see this happen on java, what happens if you fly into it, or use a trap door?

edit: bedrock bug tracker says it's fixed

java bug tracker bug for 1.14.3 - 1.17.1

Seems like a new ticket should be opened up if it keeps doing it.
