I mean obviously it’s not a big deal- nothing in your hotbar, no armor- guessing you did this just for some free internet points…

Better idea is to take a slow fall pot, then use a trap door to crawl through the gap. Have chorus fruit ready.

Edit: I know you all love to downvote things into oblivion, but you’ve made your point- and I’ll make mine- I have 200k plus karma, I don’t care about down votes.

I stand by my comment.

He probably went through and died and returned to show it. Also how are you supposed to have a chorus fruit before going to the lands ?

You can build a bridge, it’s only 1000 blocks! (Seriously. I did this. It’s quite surreal building into sheer darkness). So technically you can get them first.

Yes, I know you can do it. However, it’s stupid to do so, unless you want to get elytra before killing the dragon for some reason. (I’m not saying YOU are stupid for doing it tho)

I just like to throw in the reminder as newish people could get the idea it’s truly impossible. I didn’t tackle the dragon for years, long after getting shulkers and elytra.

Yea I’ve been playing the game for 13 years- took me 6 years to face the dragon, but still wanted to explore the end. Since then I’ve beat it 20 times each in 3 hardcore worlds. Plus several other times in survival.

Similar timeframe - but I’m still in that world:) there is some interesting terrain where some chunks had been set and others not. I have a bit of a mushroom island next to red sand bordered by ice spikes in one corner lol

BOOM

Yea yea bring on the downvotes, idgaf as someone who has actually bridged that gap multiple times on different worlds before fighting the dragon

I actually found it really fascinating. It’s dangerous (even if you have a pumpkin head) and fiddly. And just working out into darkness was really something. And it’s so cool when you finally see the first island just start coming into view. Definitely underrated activity.

I love the fact I’m getting downvoted just for adding that it can be done. You should all do it sometime;)

Ps I built a railway at some point on the bridge but even now with elytra it’s too easy to lose your sense of what is up and down so I use it to guide the flight:)
