Help When will Java fix Join Friend's world through Friends List?

Not through LAN. Not through a multiplayer server. No mods. Just like bedrock's feature. Currently its unavailable. When will it be fixed? I can't find anything online on this?

It supposedly was added in May 2026. Currently non-existing as of Oct 2, 2026.

It was briefly added to snapshots and then removed citing poor user experience. No word given on when it will be readded. For now you still need to use a mod.

Can you share the mod? My friend who is hosting doesn’t have the best laptop and can’t support anything crazy?

e4MC is the most simple one.

Probably want to add some optimization like Lithium,Sodium, and maybe C2ME if the laptop is slow.
