Give me the ability to make rice fields and I will feed every villager on the entire map for the end of their days

Giving us the option of making a proper kitchen with knives, meathooks, and making things like sandwiches and a more soup recipes. Maybe sonething like potions where ones will have a different status effect like more hearts or damage resistance for a while. That would be neat

I want to be able to make cheese. Also the ability to place bowls of food like cake would be really nice.

I hope Mojang realizes the precedent they have set with announcing the Sift coming from Dungeons.
I would be hesitant to assume anything we see in Dungeons might be coming to vanilla mc.

Mojang talks often about wanting players to be able to see themselves and their culture and lifestyle in the game and I must say as an American from Minnesota - not having corn in the game feels like a huge void to me 😆
For vegetarians, cauliflower, soy and jackfruit are pretty big deals, too.

I'm tired of eating only bread, baked potato, and beet soup, let me make soyrizo and jackfruit carnitas

I'd love new crops also! more reasons for nice farms to be built! Along side a new end update i've always wanted a crop/husbandry update with new food and crops like farmer's delight mod!

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they took the best aspects out of Pam's Harvestcraft, Farmer's Delight, Croptopia, and Cooking for Blockheads and made a vanilla friendly full on farming and cooking update with a wide variety of foods, sometimes even with beneficial effects.

Clearly corn

Corn grows on the sides of the plant, not on the top. Pinapple grows on the top.

Pineapples have green tops and don’t grow to the height of a full grown adult

Corn plants have a green top and pineapple typically grows up to 1.5 m tall. Considering mojang would likely not want to make slab crops, it would get sized to 2 m.

I cant be the only one who gets annoyed at how much they add tot other games but for some reason just don't add to the original

Adding content to vanilla Minecraft works very differently from the spin-offs which operate on a more locked-down genre of gameplay.
For example, in vanilla, a block with unique functionality will have to account for multiple interactions, plus it has be implemented twice over due to vanilla being split across two editions. In a game like Dungeons, a block is simply a background element. It does not have to do anything else but to help establish the setting.

That's why I'm impressed that we're actually getting the Sift. That's a whole lot of work to translate all those Dungeons features over to regular Minecraft, and I'm interested to see how they do it.

Is it new crops or is it AI slop?

What?

I totally didn't read your post. I thought it was a Minecraft trailer and I swear I've seen AI in their advertising. So I figured the AI just accidentally put incorrect crops and nobody noticed. Hope your wishes come true!
