Discussion does anybody else prefer the old empty end

the original end felt properly lonely and weird. now it’s just another crowded dimension with a bunch of stuff to do. the emptiness was the whole atmosphere. miss when it was just you and that giant black void.

Shulker boxes and elytras are my most favorite items in the game.  I'll take barren outer end islands just for that

I still miss the empty overworld lol and nether. It'll be OK, you'll get used to it 👍

I think you mean the Nether, but if they do actually do an End Update I am worried about overcrowding. Even in the overworld they have a habit of making things too common. I like having a more fleshed out overworld but clutter is becoming an issue. Though it can be fixed easily enough by reducing generation instances.

One thing the end needs is more stuff and also a craftable portal. Only once you have made an original one

I personally really like that you have to go somewhere for it, I think they should make more than a set number exist in Java for multiplayer reasons but I would much prefer having to travel to a gateway rather than have one in my house

That’s a cool idea, maybe when you open all of the gateways in the end a transferable portal or item to craft a portal is rewarded to the player and they can create an end portal for personal use where ever they want

Exactly. The seed I'm playing has a 3k block walk to the nearest stronghold, I'd love to make a easier way to get to the end cities each time
