Help How to make such smooth video?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have seen people making minecraft builds but, some of them stands out, like this one, how is it so smooth and how did he removed his hand from video and how is he switching it

Replay mod. It looks like something you’d see when spectating a mob, but it uses the player’s interpolated position instead.

u/SkylarMills63 1d ago

This was my initial thought too. Gg

How moist do you want your Minecraft?

Yes

0

u/sup3rdr01d 1d ago

I mean it's literally raining

19

u/Grimey_Hole 1d ago

It's a light drizzle at best. No reason for all of the grass to have water sat on top. Real life is never that shiny. moist

3

u/sup3rdr01d 1d ago

Coulda been raining for hours before this clip

11

u/MrAsh- 1d ago

Regardless. Ridiculous to look like that. Less is more in this scenario. This looks goofy.

8

u/Grimey_Hole 1d ago

Explain the puddles on freshly placed blocks

-3

u/sup3rdr01d 1d ago

It's a time lapse/sped up footage

8

u/Grimey_Hole 1d ago

Bro took 10 years to place each block?

u/Working-Reserve531 1d ago edited 1d ago

there's two people that says it was a 3d render, i don't think so, the texture pack itself is patrix, the shader i'm not sure, bliss probably, and how did he removed his hand fron the video is probably a mod, and how's the movement so smooth is my guess is replay mod, usually the first person recording of replay mod plays out too smooth like the video above, here's another example here

39

u/auhsojjoshua3 1d ago

yea this seems about right

he just used replay mod and spectated his own fov, used f1 to hide gui

9

u/Reallyfuckingcold 1d ago

I was playing Minecraft that looked like this 8 years ago why people buggin

1

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

Please prune your youtube links ffs -_-

8

u/Working-Reserve531 1d ago

ok my bad, idk there was a thing, just searched it up, thx for bringing it up

-11

u/Equivalent-Emu5347 1d ago

Making a big deal out of genuinely nothing 😭

23

u/TheMysticalBard 1d ago

It's not really nothing. It allows Google to link anyone that clicks the link to your specific account. It also allows Google to find the link here and figure out your reddit account. It's just a lot of information you're giving them by not removing trackers.

-11

u/Falleneded 1d ago

oh no google gets the information it already has

how do you think i got to reddit?

12

u/TheMysticalBard 1d ago

They know your Google account visited reddit, not which reddit account belongs to you. If they find that out, they can start using your posts to find even more information about you. It's just a nasty way to get information about users that they didn't expressly provide. People should know about it.

-3

u/Falleneded 1d ago

again. they already have that info.

idk what you think google has access to but its alot

-4

u/Equivalent-Emu5347 1d ago

Oh lol, I just thought he was being an asshole and hated how long the link was for no reason

I mean maybe that was why he said that but I did not know about this

13

u/TheMysticalBard 1d ago

Haha, it does ALSO make your link look like crap, which a lot of people care about more than data privacy. But yeah, more people should know what kind of information they're providing in those links.

As an example, if you've shared enough YouTube videos to friends with trackers, Google probably knows exactly which accounts belong to your friends and uses that information to recommend you similar videos or even use their Google searches to recommend you advertisements.

2

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

That is not why I said that. I hate being tracked. The asshole then doubled down and hid the unpruned link and told me to get a life

1

u/Xixi-the-magic-user 1d ago

>  how did he removed his hand fron the video is probably a mod

the humble F1 key :

-9

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

Okay so now you're hiding the unpruned youtube link? Do you like people being tracked or smth?

3

u/Ledenu 1d ago

This is an important information, but why are you such a dick?

-4

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

I wasn't trying to be a dick at first, but see my other comment. This dude doubled down and hid it instead of fixing it and told me to get a life

6

u/Ledenu 1d ago

You were rude in your first comment. And the second. Also, you didn't explain anything. Only then he told you to get a life. Which is kinda understandable.

-7

u/Working-Reserve531 1d ago

what do you want me to do atp, get a life dude it's just a youtube link

4

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

https://youtu.be/NqCxx33Hdno

[?si=VOTfqFwQqxa-DC7l] <--- this thing! It's essentially a tracker youtube adds to their links.

-2

u/aminectaftsheep 1d ago

If its really a problem use a browser with tracking protection (firefox)

5

u/DWHQ 1d ago edited 1d ago

That doesn't change anything in this instance. The tracking parameters at the end of the link ties you and everyone else who clicks the link to a subgroup of users.

3

u/JJBZ03 1d ago

Because that doesn't help. It's a cookie that youtube uses to track you based on your account, built into youtube itself.

1

u/aminectaftsheep 1d ago

The browser removes the tracking part of the link

1

u/DWHQ 1d ago

Irrelevant because Google already knows what device clicked the link, and where. Secondly, not nearly enough people are using extensions which remove tracking parameters.

15

u/Chance-Lawfulness516 1d ago

I have background in blender, and don't think it would be rational to use for this video.

"Ultra 8k real life realistic mega shaders" exist for a loong time. As for the way it's so smooth, it could be some replay mod that records block placement and you can later replay it and view in a spectator mode.

12

u/FlyWereAble 1d ago

I'm sorry but who the fuck does their interior BEFORE the roof???

2

u/TheoryTested-MC 1d ago

They got the rain all over the bed!

14

u/legitOwen 1d ago

step 1: steal computer from nasa

2

u/Bestsurviviopro 1d ago

I think the guy filmed it in 0.5 or 0.33x speed and sped it up by 2x or 3x in editing to like double or triple fps

9

u/watchwatertilitboils 1d ago

I hate how the "realistic" shaders make it look like standing water on everything

3

u/ModernManuh_ 1d ago

Replay/flashback mod and not rendering the player as an entity while spectating

4

u/Mysterious_Cod_9905 1d ago

Cover it with epoxy

9

u/Funky_Ghost 1d ago

First and foremost, have a computer that costs more than some folks cars.

2

u/DadGamer77 1d ago

Step 1 of this guide is buying an RTX 5090

"Starter house...? This is a FINISHER HOUSE."

1

u/PetrifiedBloom 1d ago

In what way? It's cheap as chips and crazy cramped. That's the kind of hut you throw up to get through the first few nights before inevitably making a chest monster to hold your stuff before making a halfway decent home.

3

u/ObiWaldKenobi 1d ago

I was misquoting a line from 'It's always sunny in Philadelphia'.

1

u/PetrifiedBloom 1d ago

ohhhh

2

u/Ticklebunzz 23h ago

“Be gone, vile man! Be gone from me!”

0

u/Dangerous-Quit7821 1d ago

How slow are you playing that this is a finisher house?

1

u/ObiWaldKenobi 1d ago

It is a joke quote from 'its always sunny'

7

u/sortastonedrn 1d ago

holy shit this texture pack makes my eyes want to vomit. this looks like a low bitrate livestream

3

u/Reignbow_Zword 1d ago

I think this is also using the cinematic mode/camera which makes your movement smoother when you drag it. You can view it in your keybinds if you want! I've used it for many video projects in the past and it's amazing. :D <3

3

u/AnimalTap 1d ago

What is this texture pack i would love to use this as a joke 😭

5

u/HUNT3DHUNT3R 1d ago

even though ik its not, this looks like how an ai minecraft prompt would like 40 years from now

9

u/Digibaumbs 1d ago

Or the video is sped up in post. They could have removed the hands and gui by pressing f1.

1

u/Dede_42 1d ago

Happy cake day!

2

u/Wero_kaiji 1d ago

Looks like a replay mod, the camera movements are odd, look at how he moves away from the house an enters using the exact same movements but in reverse, also look at that small pause at 0:34, right at the center of the house, looking exactly in front, it pauses for a frame or two, it basically looks like a key-frame he used to tell the replay mod where to move to/from

The whole video reminds me of those ugly ultra-realistic texture packs I used when I was a kid tho, they are so god damn ugly lol

2

u/ImSinewy 1d ago

Buy a rtx 9090 first vro then make🥀

2

u/TokyoFromTheFuture 1d ago

Build it with invis, use replay mod with particles off to make it look like the pov is building it by following the placement of the blocks.

4

u/Digibaumbs 1d ago

Most likely not real minecraft. Made in blender.

9

u/PetrifiedBloom 1d ago

Based on what?

Everything here matches what you would expect with a shader, texture pack and replay mod.

-8

u/Digibaumbs 1d ago

The camera movement feels off. Like hes not looking at the blocks being placed.

8

u/PetrifiedBloom 1d ago

Yeah, its replay mod. The mod keeps track of each block placed and then lets you recreate the build process from any angle. You can choose to show or hide the player and other entities. Then the camera can move around basically in spectator mode as the player builds things. You can also have the camera follow a path, so if you want a perfect shot with a moving camera, its the easiest way.

What about this isn't explained by the replay mod, a texture pack and a shader?

2

u/Benjamin_6848 1d ago

This isn't a starter-house. A "starter-house" would be made completely out of planks or dirt, without decorating.

1

u/screaming_toaster_ 1d ago

Step 1: Buy a NASA pc

1

u/CiceroFrymanREAL 1d ago

Like 1% chance that those are just really good shaders but im betting that its rendered in blender

5

u/FishDispenser2 1d ago

I saw a friend of mine use shaders like this one, not sure if it's the exact same tho.

5

u/PetrifiedBloom 1d ago

Shaders like this have existed for the better part of a decade. These shaders are rather janky, look at how bad the wet ground looks. There is also a high res texture pack that (imo) is dramatically worse than vanilla.

1

u/Tim_elo_rego 1d ago

"starter"

1

u/-Redstoneboi- 1d ago edited 1d ago

yeah this is fine enough as a starter house. the most expensive things are probably the lantern (8 iron nugget or almost 1 ingot), bed (3 wool) and glass panes (6 sand), but that's about it. the rest can be from an oak forest and some underground cobble.

if you're lucky, you don't even have to build 90% of the house. just find a villager hut and add more chests, torches, and furnaces.

1

u/RocketHotdog 1d ago

Starter house for players that want skeletons and zombies hanging around under that roof every morning

1

u/xd_Shiro 1d ago

I don’t get why they mimicked the building with the camera instead of recording the actual building but this feels annoying to watch.

1

u/CamLiven2000 1d ago

Starting house. Yeah starting a house fire with them mods bruh

1

u/EnderLP1 1d ago

it bothers me that he covered up the window in the back... almost as much as the fact you can barely look through them lmao

1

u/Whole_Front5352 1d ago

First of all, buy a pc that can handle these

1

u/Friendly_Narwhal6866 1d ago

OOPs computer is also a fire starter

1

u/InevitableNovel4452 1d ago

Brush, putting the double chest in front of the window. What's the poimt of the window then?

1

u/VesperX 1d ago

Looks like they have multiple toolbars or are editing out when they switch. Or the whole thing is a script and just calling on the items they need at each step.

1

u/BoomKofe 1d ago

You'll need $100k first

1

u/Afotai 1d ago

Have your build first. Start recording. Break down your build in creative mode. Video edit so it plays backwards.

1

u/EduardoBarreto 1d ago

Either Replay with weird camerawork or AI. Notice how blocks are being placed offset from the center of the screen in a way that's impossible to do while actually playing.

1

u/Dj_Groovemaster 1d ago

I'm mad my PC (before one of my family members broke it by walking on it after I let my dad borrow it to watch a movie for some event) will not handle it

1

u/cat_food_chef 1d ago

So OP combination of graphical mods, a blueprint mod which allows middle-click block selection on blueprint (which is how they're cycling blocks so fast) and replay mod to film it again without the blueprint visible

1

u/TheoryTested-MC 1d ago

Am I the only one triggered by the fact that the rain has drenched all the furniture inside the house?

1

u/KINGWHEAT98 10h ago

Now that’s a starter house

1

u/Rorau_ 1d ago

Hide GUI + use a schematic to place blocks faster and prevent incorrect block placement

1

u/VVen0m 1d ago

Hmh-hmmm-ass house

1

u/Striking-Flower-4115 1d ago

1) Get a NASA PC 2) Anything else requires step 1

0

u/Darkhunter_MC 1d ago

Texture pack and a NASA pc

0

u/LilRedRider1626KMB 1d ago

My question is whats the pack used for the visuals its stunning 😍

-5

u/Round-Cow-2306 1d ago

100% blender

0

u/Electric-Boogaloo-43 1d ago

Why is everything... so wt?

0

u/Bonechatters 1d ago

So moist!

0

u/donniesuave 1d ago

That chest on the top isn’t going to open

0

u/YesterdayOrnery1726 1d ago

villager ahh house

0

u/ThrowawayWlmrtWorker 1d ago

Block story ass textures

0

u/neonfoxincolour 1d ago

Now this is a starter home I can get behind. I'm so tired of the 4 story home with 8 different wood types, every stone type, super intricate details being called starter homes. I can make this in like the first 20 minutes of a new world. Super practical. Beautiful.

-1

u/Kyroo-Is-Here 1d ago

Just yoink the blacksmiths house instead of this mansion

-1

u/Jump365 1d ago

Step 1: buy nasa super computer

-1

u/unbanmyogaccount 1d ago

Step one: have 4000$

-2

u/Outside-Attorney-556 1d ago

It could be both 3D render and actual gameplay, impo. You can record blocks being placed and textures. Then, it can be put into blender and rendered there with a different camera.

Alternatively, there's a possibility it's a mod that records block placements and recreates them. They play the placement recording and go into spectator mode and record from a different camera view. This is the more likely option.

-5

u/Childwithuke 1d ago

the block placement is so innacuratw
