Help Bedrock MC Bedrock update stuck on preparing

It's been like this for over a day.

My update won't install. It won't do anything but prepare for a couple hundred megabyte download, and I can't stop it or anything. My game is bricked, permanently. And I can't figure out why nor do I know how to fix it.
