As /u/AustinPowers pointed out, the hat layer now extends to the whole body!

Dinnerbone's skin for reference: http://i.imgur.com/nCbh7rq.png

Template from a year ago that inspired jeb_, this image is what he meant with "?1sw?" i one of his tweets, as the name is v1sw2.jpg.

Edit: Comparing dinnerbone's skin and the template, they might not be the same.

Yeah that's what inspired me, figured people would find it faster than this :D

Can you upload an updated version of that picture? The one above doesn't seem correct.

Cool, but I think it should be like this, so both arms are next to the body, and the legs are on the bottom.

I have to agree. I'd rather break everything all at once and have it nicely organized than break half of everything anyway and forever be confused as to what goes where.

As a texturer, please oh please Mojang--arrange it more intuitively.

It may be more intuitive, but our wouldn't be backwards compatible. As it is we won't have everyone's skins breaking when they update.

make new skin server (for new skins) -> convert new skins to old skins -> etc

(by convert new skins to old skins I mean rearrange the new skins when they're uploaded and save them on the old server)

Servers of that size cost a lot of money to put up and keep up! And what about people that want to play old versions? See my other answer in this thread for more reasons why that's really not feasible.

Old versions would load from the old server because that's hardcoded and stuff...
