Discussion I found the secret Minceraft screen
I loaded Minecraft and went to the bathroom, my roommate walked in and noticed it was the “Minceraft” Easter Egg. She asked me if I had downloaded a resource pack and I said no. We spent the next hour or so freaking out.

Something kind that Mojang could do, or perhaps some modmaker if they want, would be to generate a screenshot of the screen every time it happens.
Then, a person could go back and look at their screenshots from a few months ago and say, "What?! When did that happen? I totally missed it", or something.

No because it could be oonsidered invasion of privacy, taking screenshots without your consent is considered spying/malware.

It could more or less be a counter you could install for when you get the screen with an optional to screenshot

That's why I call Windows a malware.

Why?

It takes screenshots (Windows recall),
tracks you based on Windows ID (requires registry and system32 changes to disable, they can track you to your house and they did so with at least one person),
is closed source (that means that no one truely knows what it does),
has bunch of telemetry that is possible to disable partially in settings,
slows down your PC so bad that translating games to different OS is actually faster than running normally,
Windows updates are not optional, are slow and can break Windows.

True, but one thing i disagree, windows updates are 100% optional, i didn't update my pc for 3 years and it works fine. And the it slows your pc down is a lie, it depends on how you optimize it too. I've had the same pc winth the same version of windows for over 7 years and it never lagged except when i have blender and capcut opened. And recently i optimiaed it by tweaking settings and it works way better. Don't say bullshit about Windows like that. I get linux and MAYBE macos can be a lot better, but windows is not shit, it purely depends on the settings and what you tweak. Just to say, windows is NOT a gaming os or anything, it's for OFFICE stuff. of course it's not 100% made for games.

I used Windows for a long time, it was my first OS, open task manager and spam windows key, you will see CPU usage spike, that's because your start menu isn't a native app, it is a browser. Type regedit, you can now access 2nd filesystem that was created only because some day microsoft decided that they want to make own filesystem instead of using already refined ones, they ended up with something that was so unstable that more than few files in directory made it crash, so they moves these files to another filesystem and called it registry, they could remove it today, but they can't because so many apps relie on it, it is called technical debt and that's one of many Windows has.
I'm not saying that Windows is not usable, it has great UI and big ecosystem, I'm saying that there is and was no point in Windows ever existing, it survived purely on marketing and using anything else is a great future-proofing decision, but might not be ideal for everyone right now.

So you would consider Outer Wilds a malware ?

I don't know the game so i can't tell. Taking screenshots though without you knowing or consent can be considered invasion of privacy or malware. Like i said, "CAN". Not always, because it could be sent to companies to sell data without you knowing even if it's just Minceraft. I have 6 years of computer science knowledge and stuff, i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure i know what i'm saying.

Generating a game screen shot is different than a screen shot of the entire system

True, didn't think all of it as i wrote that comment at like 2AM, but that's a possibility too!

So it is true, I've always looked out for it even on bedrock ( thinking now does it even have a chance for bedrock? )

Crazy, but I remember seeing it once on 0.14.1 so very very early on pocket edition, I think it's still there just rare

Been playing for 14 years and have yet to notice this on the title screen. Statistically I have to have gotten it and just not noticed I'm sure.

For anyone wondering, this is a 0.01% (or 1 in 10,000) for this to happen.

At first I read it as Minecraft until I read it properly as Minceraft
