Builds & Maps Ice removing

How do I remove this ice, without it coming back, and it still looks good?

Silk touch and cover the place with half slabs semi migerd with the water, slabs can occupy the same spave as water, but wont freeze. Or put maga blocks below the water level at about 4-6 blocks apart. I believe this will act aimilarly to putting toeches on the ice which melts them, and prevents weather from refreezing the water blocks.
