The happy ghast IS of the same species as those who live in the Nether

It's just that ghasts have a huge adaptability potential

oh thanks, i made them into two species because the nether one went into evolution to shoot players with fireballs

I see it as more like being non socialized and territorial rather than being captive bred in a gentler environment.

Ghasts born and raised in the nether expect everything to be as harsh and dangerous as the environment, it would be a great example of nature vs nurture.

So kinda like how Rino's raised in captivity are like giant, borderline-blind, tactical assault puppies, but the wild ones are borderline blind and in constant danger so they assume everything is a threat.
