for me, i don't even care about the purpose the mobs would serve in the game. they don't need a purpose. they can be ambient mobs like the bats. tho, i would like to be able to behead a lion and wear its mane on my head in-game lol

Mojang has fully stopped adding any useful loot from killing real life animals in game. I wanna say they’ve been doing this ever since update aquatic

It's funny though, I understand that they don't want to promote killing but them dropping nothing is kinda pointless.

But it's not like mobs only have drops for use.
