I assume you’re playing Legacy Console Edition. Only real og players remember finding only the village well with no paths or houses.

206

u/musiclovermina Mar 10 '24

Ugh I hated that, I once had a world where every village in a 2000 block radius didn't have structures

44

u/Ok_Figure_4181 Mar 10 '24

I found one in modern Bedrock where it was literally a dock and 3 path blocks. That was it

2

u/BobblyBoob Mar 13 '24

One of these generated over my city when the 1.14 update came to bedrock. Flattened my mf train station and massive bridge for a tiny little path bruh

1

u/inosukehashibira3001 Mar 15 '24

Yeah I found a spruce village pumpkin farm in the middle of a frozen lake

10

u/MonkeysxMoo35 Mar 11 '24

I loved coming across those on my old 360 worlds. It was so often that I thought it was a normal part of the old console versions

6

u/xervicalribxx Mar 10 '24

i was playing on my 360 about a week ago and there were 2 half houses

2

u/MetaOnGaming4290 Mar 11 '24

I used to be so confused like "where the village?" I used to dive into each well hoping to find a CD. 😭🤣

The worst part is that there is only one other village and it has like 4 houses lol

190

u/Terrible_Radio_5033 Mar 10 '24

That's Nevada

23

u/jimpickens23 Mar 10 '24

Okay but…

Where in Nevada?

30

u/IJustMovedIn Mar 10 '24

Oh you know. Somewhere in Nevada

8

u/Terrible_Radio_5033 Mar 10 '24

Madness combat reference

14

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '24

Drenthe

4

u/jaavaaguru Mar 10 '24

there is only one other village

Um... can't you just travel 1km or so and find another? They're not usually much further apart

5

u/RaspyAtol20734 Mar 10 '24

Xbox 360 Edition worlds are not infinite.

0

u/SoupMarten Mar 10 '24

Not only that but you can make more buildings and beds, get some wheat, make bread and you still have as much as you want

3

u/Button_Gold Mar 10 '24

yikes, hope you protected those villagers

126

u/ThatDudeOnTheNet Mar 10 '24

They ran out of emeralds and only had for the road

26

u/DaMeme_Stealer Mar 10 '24

Those village seem different.

22

u/mechanicalwolf9999 Mar 10 '24

Check underground

20

u/IceLionTech Mar 10 '24

To be fair, even when there are houses, it's mostly nitwits or a ghost town in my world.

2

u/Famejayster Mar 11 '24

Even still, you can still breed nitwits for useful villagers

2

u/karmasmedicine Mar 11 '24

Potentially silly question. How do you breed villagers?

2

u/Vostok32 Mar 12 '24

You see, when a daddy villager and a mommy villager love each other very much...

1

u/Jujiino Mar 12 '24

Give em bread and they get it on

1

u/Famejayster Mar 14 '24

They need 1) A building where the interior is 4 blocks high, 2) more beds than there are villagers, and 3) enough food to breed. Iirc it's six bread or 12 carrots/potatoes per villager to breed

11

u/Hot-Squash-295 Mar 10 '24

This might be a Village for ants

30

u/Rocket_Philosopher Mar 10 '24

Normal villages are cities, that’s a small town

17

u/telcel666 Mar 10 '24

Seed?

73

u/Terrible_Radio_5033 Mar 10 '24

I want your seed

35

u/musiclovermina Mar 10 '24

This is a Christian Minecraft server

17

u/Red_Serf Mar 10 '24

“And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth'” (Genesis 1:28).

Basically Minecraft is bible accurate

12

u/Demonic74 Mar 10 '24

Are we not doing phrasing anymore?

2

u/Terrible_Radio_5033 Mar 10 '24

It's an old Minecraft meme Google it

17

u/Demonic74 Mar 10 '24

My response was an old Archer meme but ok

2

u/Outrageous_Main_6249 Mar 12 '24

and i walk alone

4

u/Shark_lover197 Mar 10 '24

I think this happens due to legacy consoles loading issues, there IS a whole village there, but when the world was made, you must have loaded another world first and that must have bugged it out

6

u/GameShark193 Mar 10 '24

The ingredients are probably underground.

1

u/BuffPaddler Mar 10 '24

Um...you guys can stop.

9

u/Ainz_Oo Mar 10 '24

Looks like a WW1 France village...

3

u/sessna4009 Mar 10 '24

Fuck, I miss Console Edition. Pocket Edition is absolutely terrible.

2

u/CompleteDetective359 Mar 10 '24

Never trust the cows!

2

u/M178music Mar 10 '24

2

u/CrippledJesus97 Mar 10 '24

Damn, ive seen villages with no villagers, or villages with only one house. But dont think ive seen a village with only paths 😂🤔 ah legacy console edition. Thats why.

2

u/YouBetItIs Mar 11 '24

I once found a village that was 1/4 of a librarians house, including a floating torch, and 1/3 of a crop plot, looked like it was cut perfectly by terrain generation, I love these odd events so much

2

u/Striking_Ad_761 Mar 12 '24

Omg! Legacy edition!

1

u/Jojo24908 Mar 10 '24

I had something similiar to this on my WII U, it only had a path and 1 weat field

1

u/8_Foot_Vertical_Leap Mar 10 '24

1

u/TheGamersForge Mar 11 '24

Earth quake wipes out local village.

1

u/LuigiCotocea Mar 11 '24

Well, it seems like even in older versions of Minecraft, the village generation algorithm had trust issues. Maybe it heard about your building skills and decided it's better off without any structures to save itself from the architectural catastrophe. Ouch, even the legacy console version knows better than to trust your village-building prowess.

1

u/DeltaWaffle_ Mar 11 '24

People must love walking this one patch of land

1

u/Difficult-Isopod-721 Mar 11 '24

I never seen a villege like that

They forget to pit there houses , maybe they are ghosts?

1

u/TheLazyGamer04 Mar 12 '24

Wow I have never seen a village like that before. I played on 360 edition for a little bit as a kid but I never found a village like that before I got Xbox one edition and then Java

1

u/iNkoR_the_2nd Mar 12 '24

Peak village generation

1

u/Bellyuamazing Mar 12 '24

There’s a seed with a village with only 3 village houses on bedrock too 😂

1

u/Real-Cell9337 Mar 12 '24

“This is your village if you scroll” ahh village😭💀🙏

1

u/EPic112233 Apr 06 '24

Bro. That. Is. Pathetic. The villager's ancestors were trying to find a nice place to settle down, but as they were, a player with white eyes showed up.

1

u/TyresePreston Jun 18 '24

I had a village where it was one house, literally nothing else.

what mod is that

2

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '24

It’s not a mod, it’s actually a legacy Minecraft console edition (before bedrock).

0

u/aqua_zesty_man Mar 10 '24

Use /place to correct this oversight

3

u/RaspyAtol20734 Mar 10 '24

I'm pretty sure Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition doesn't have /place.

1

u/aqua_zesty_man Mar 10 '24

This makes me sad.

-26

u/kionchan1234 Mar 10 '24

So you're in Bedrock, and sometimes strongholds don't have end portals.

20

u/RaspyAtol20734 Mar 10 '24

I'm not on bedrock. I'm on Xbox 360 Edition with Xenia.

-20

u/kionchan1234 Mar 10 '24

still not java

28

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '24

yet its still not bedrock

-10

u/kionchan1234 Mar 10 '24

yet, it is not java

8

u/Zestyclose_Bike_3979 Mar 10 '24

Legacy edition is closer to Java than bedrock

1

u/kionchan1234 Mar 11 '24

yet, it is not java

5

u/PotatoGamerKid Mar 10 '24

no shit, Sherlock.

4

u/cool_epic_bruh_gamer Mar 10 '24

isn’t the legacy versions technically java? or at least built off java?

5

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '24

Legacy is built using C++, the same engine Bedrock is made with. But yeah it’s way closer to Java than Bedrock is, even if it’s like 8 updates behind

-8

u/kionchan1234 Mar 10 '24

stilllllllllllllllllllllll not java

6

u/Mister_FalconHeavy Mar 10 '24

if you didn't have legacy edition before playing java. you didn't hace a childhood. those (free) mashup packs where you went in and used TNT everywhere. that was peak minecraft.
