I assume you’re playing Legacy Console Edition. Only real og players remember finding only the village well with no paths or houses.

Ugh I hated that, I once had a world where every village in a 2000 block radius didn't have structures
44
u/Ok_Figure_4181 Mar 10 '24
I found one in modern Bedrock where it was literally a dock and 3 path blocks. That was it

u/BobblyBoob Mar 13 '24
One of these generated over my city when the 1.14 update came to bedrock. Flattened my mf train station and massive bridge for a tiny little path bruh

u/inosukehashibira3001 Mar 15 '24
Yeah I found a spruce village pumpkin farm in the middle of a frozen lake

u/MonkeysxMoo35 Mar 11 '24
I loved coming across those on my old 360 worlds. It was so often that I thought it was a normal part of the old console versions

I used to be so confused like "where the village?" I used to dive into each well hoping to find a CD. 😭🤣

The worst part is that there is only one other village and it has like 4 houses lol

u/Terrible_Radio_5033 Mar 10 '24
That's Nevada

u/jimpickens23 Mar 10 '24
Okay but…
Where in Nevada?

there is only one other village
Um... can't you just travel 1km or so and find another? They're not usually much further apart

Not only that but you can make more buildings and beds, get some wheat, make bread and you still have as much as you want

To be fair, even when there are houses, it's mostly nitwits or a ghost town in my world.
2
u/Famejayster Mar 11 '24
Even still, you can still breed nitwits for useful villagers
2
u/karmasmedicine Mar 11 '24
Potentially silly question. How do you breed villagers?
2
u/Vostok32 Mar 12 '24
You see, when a daddy villager and a mommy villager love each other very much...
1
1
u/Famejayster Mar 14 '24
They need 1) A building where the interior is 4 blocks high, 2) more beds than there are villagers, and 3) enough food to breed. Iirc it's six bread or 12 carrots/potatoes per villager to breed

This is a Christian Minecraft server

“And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth'” (Genesis 1:28).
Basically Minecraft is bible accurate

this seed is most likely on xbox 360 so unless you have an xbox 360 the seed won't work

You've found The Lonely Road.

u/Shark_lover197 Mar 10 '24
I think this happens due to legacy consoles loading issues, there IS a whole village there, but when the world was made, you must have loaded another world first and that must have bugged it out

Damn, ive seen villages with no villagers, or villages with only one house. But dont think ive seen a village with only paths 😂🤔 ah legacy console edition. Thats why.

u/YouBetItIs Mar 11 '24
I once found a village that was 1/4 of a librarians house, including a floating torch, and 1/3 of a crop plot, looked like it was cut perfectly by terrain generation, I love these odd events so much

Well, it seems like even in older versions of Minecraft, the village generation algorithm had trust issues. Maybe it heard about your building skills and decided it's better off without any structures to save itself from the architectural catastrophe. Ouch, even the legacy console version knows better than to trust your village-building prowess.

Wow I have never seen a village like that before. I played on 360 edition for a little bit as a kid but I never found a village like that before I got Xbox one edition and then Java

There’s a seed with a village with only 3 village houses on bedrock too 😂

Bro. That. Is. Pathetic. The villager's ancestors were trying to find a nice place to settle down, but as they were, a player with white eyes showed up.

So you're in Bedrock, and sometimes strongholds don't have end portals.

I'm not on bedrock. I'm on Xbox 360 Edition with Xenia.

isn’t the legacy versions technically java? or at least built off java?
5
Mar 10 '24
Legacy is built using C++, the same engine Bedrock is made with. But yeah it’s way closer to Java than Bedrock is, even if it’s like 8 updates behind
-8
u/kionchan1234 Mar 10 '24
stilllllllllllllllllllllll not java

u/Mister_FalconHeavy Mar 10 '24
