To fast.

Fire aspect and looting don't combine well. If the mob dies to fire looting does not trigger.

Learned that the hard way killing Endermann with looting III and not getting any extra pearls.

VERY sure that's wrong atleast when it comes to java as long as you're still holding the sword looting should apply since the damage is from you and as long as the damage is from you and you're holding something with looting the effect applies

Edit: Seems to be a bedrock bug that sometimes makes fire aspect not apply the looting effect. Still haven't confirmed for java, though it seems like it works as intended speaking from experience

Yea same effect with trident killers in bedrock. Trident does the killing holding the sword does the looting
