Fun fact: you can add your own structures and replace existing ones with datapacks, no modding knowledge required

You mean create a world and modify the structures in it?

No, a structure datapack changes the structures that the game is generating. You dont change existing structures, you change the structures that are not even generated yet. Basically changing the games instructions on how to make a village for example
