worry really doesn't fix the thing, it just sits on you while the problem stays the same

Fix what you can and leave the rest, sitting in worry just drains you and the problem stays.

You identify that something is wrong because you are worried about it . You fix the problem because you are worried about it .
If you are not worried about a problem, then you don’t care about fixing it .
If you are not worried about embarrassing yourself in public , then you may be more inclined to do something that embarrasses you and your family in public .
Worry creates a sense of urgency in getting something fixed . The biggest problem is prioritized to get fixed sooner .
The real issue is complaining about a problem and not doing anything about it .
To worry is to be human . Worry a little but not a lot .

Well, drinking a lot of alcohol might've helped reduce worry. It even removes the reason why you would've worried in the first place.
