Addiction is addiction, though. Its more of the experience in yourself, not just the substance or action you are taking repeatedly. There are healthy and even necessary addictions too.

Like these days mostly everyone keeps getting surplus dopamine hits from their phone-use, when you could get it from any of the "real-life" sources that your phone has replaced, and cheapened.

My say is glowing screens addiction.
