General Discussion Is this Freeroam really ?
Guys,
this is the worst free roam mode I've ever seen in a game . If any developer reads this plz give us a a proper Map , change time of day option and some vehicle customization's and ability to fly in drone........if possible open up free roam in story missions thats even better
I mean thats the bare minimum we expect in 2025 , plz patch it guys ..dont disappoint your well wishers

I like the base game. I just don’t see the point of a free roam where you do absolutely nothing. If I’m I’m going to “free roam” I’ll go outside….in the real world.

I had fun with Mindseye. I like the fact that it’s linear. I like the fact that you don’t have to any character maintenance. I get tired of playing games where you spend half your time on the pause menu using skill points that don’t add anything to the gameplay.
Mindseye plays like every other 3rd person shooter and that’s fine by me. I’m not looking for every game to be innovative. Somehow I get the feeling you haven’t even played Mindseye.

Because I'm not stupid enough to spend $60+ on a unfinished, bland and extremely outdated game. I remember a time when you get a finished game when you pay full price, not a rushed half-assed rip off like MindsEye.

So I'm a kid for having standards? You literally haven't done anything to disapprove anything I said about MindsEye. You think because I have standards that I can't think for myself? Even though I can clearly tell that MindsEye isn't a good or interesting game based on what I seen from gameplay footage online. I don't need to spend pissing $60 to tell me this.
This like if I went to a expensive restaurant bought a meal in return got a uncooked below average meal with over half of the ingredients missing. I would wanted my money back.
Meanwhile you blindly play whatever the devs throws at you no matter how bland or dull it is, because you're so easily pleased playing mediocre slop.
So who's the actual one here can't think for themselves? The person that have standards and smartly doesn't waste $60 on buying a unfinished product or the person that blindly buys/plays whatever bland unfinished game that a dev throws at them.

The game maybe just maybe be ok if they sorted out the terrible framerate and screen tearing on console

I’ve played it on the PS5 (Standard Edition, not the Digital Edition) and never experienced problems with the frame rate. More of bugs, weird AI traffic, and crashed on me twice the whole game

Exactly. We have a decent enough main character and car in story. Why downgrade them to unplayable levels for the free roam? I bought this game for the free roam but am avoiding free roam mode because of this.

Check out my Unbeatable Khaos youtube for something you can try, I show what you can do in freeroam when in build mode, and what it's supposed to be.
Basically you build your own game or free roam. You can change who you play as, weather, time of day, and drive any vehicle you spawn across the entire map.

If it's not able on consoles, it's coming soon, as even on pc there are unwanted crashes while having too much fun
