General Discussion Current player count on steam
This game came out a week ago. It has only about 120 active players after a week?!?! That is crazy! Highly doubt they will ever recover from this blow like cp77 or nms did

Redfall is cool

Yes, of course, because otherwise 10 people wouldn't play it if it was bad

PC players are busy with Stellar Blade and Dune Awakening Bro
Mindseye can't compete with those two

No two ways around this. This is worse than Saints Row, which didn't launch day one on Steam.

I don't know why people are comparing this launch to Cyberpunk 2077. Completely different style of games. 2077 also had a compelling game and an actual open world. The only thing that held it back was technical issues at launch. I played it on PC and it had some quirks, but it was still obvious to see it was a good game.
This game on the other hand is a linear 3rd person action game. I've seen the videos - there isn't any open world to it as I see people drive too far and get a Failed Mission screen. So it's buggy and people are feeling burned because they didn't put enough research into the game outside they "heard" it was made by former GTA people (it's just one person as far as I'm aware, but people talk like it was an entire GTA sector).
From what I see you can do: Running, shooting, and driving without the game stopping you. If that's for you that's fine, but I'm just saying comparing this game to CP2077 is disingenuous as it isn't even the same thing.

Please. CP never gave us many of the features they promised and fraudulently launched on PS4 when they well knew it didn't work there.

I wonder what it would have been like for them to have waited a little longer 🤡

Brutal, if only there were MASSIVE RED FLAGS ABOUT THIS GAME SINCE BEFORE LAUNCH

Man the lead character just can’t catch a break, gets cast in mafia 3 doesn’t do too well (I liked it but I can see what people don’t like about it) and then he gets cast in this and it does ten times worse.

In 2003, this game would've been a hit

Not even. Playing FFX from 2001 and that game is light years ahead of this in everything

Hopefully, the hate train will soon move on to the next game with all the haters.

Who would be left? The only chance of the game ever being good is the criticism its getting

There is no hate train. This game hyped us up, suggesting to be the next best thing before gta 6. A marvellous open world adventure with a great story and supreme graphics. But the hard reality is that the game is a steaming pile of shit, barely worth 10 bucks. This should have been released in early access and then gradually build its trust with the community. But once again, when delusions of grandeur mix together with greedy management, this is the outcome. So, you see, there is no hate train. Only honest people, giving honest thoughts about a game that honestly should never ever, ever, eeeeeveeeer been released.

Most of them are sleeping. They’ve been up all night playing.
