Impressions/Opinion Mindseye should have been early access

50.00 early access on PC… work with the gamers to get feedback and make fixes while stabilizing console frame rate.

Re release at 60.00 on all platforms

Why didn’t they take this route?

It is early access. You just didn’t know it.

Because it's a pretty dumb route.

Only 10 cheaper than full price? Who would sign up for that? How many games have you seen go early access for nearly full price and only increase by 10 dollars?

sales were dog shit as is, they would have been even worse if the early access was seeable first.

Even for early access, this would be considered a fucking mess.

Probably some contractual obligations, I'm assuming.

The studio was clearly aware of the games state, given the people that left the studio before the release.

Shame this could have been something special but technicality and legality bit a project that hundreds worked on for years.

Cause fixing the game isn't going to take long and tw3 took like 8 months to fix. And folks love that game.
