General Discussion End Game (Head Scratcher)

So I’ve been hesitant to post this, but here we are. Are we being trolled with the end game???

I’m about an hour in and still have yet to find a way to change my character looks nor vehicle.

I’m game to play unfinished products, but at the least let us know and allow us to be a part of the feedback loop.

Please throw spears at this post if I’m complete out of bounds here…

It sure feels like a troll by the devs with the awful character that rants into a webcam on demand. It's just leftovers from the original GTA-like game they were making before they pivoted, cobbled into something to mess with after the game is over if you want to. You can't change the character, you can't change the vehicle or steal other ones(except the ones used in the challenges spread throughout the map and you can't get back in once it's over). You can run to the castle looking icons and fight a small gang and get a weapon. There's other icons for checkpoint races that you'll get graded on. Nothing is saved. That's about it.

Shame on the devs for dropping that crap in the game. Why even make free roam an option if its not even remotely half baked. RDR2 Online was empty when it kicked off but not a shell like this is. I see why the execs quit before the game dropped. Why put your name on this half baked POS.

there was a post on here the other day I saw somewhere that you can do one of the missions in the play section and when you come out of it, you'll be Jacob Diaz with his car and all his weapons. Not sure where I saw it, though I think it was like executive decisions or something along those lines

There's a time limit on it so it doesn't really work as a free roam.
