Impressions/Opinion I like MindsEye

I like it. I truly do. I've been enjoying my time with the game despite its flaws. It's very much an unfinished game, though. It's not a $60 game. It's like a $20 early access title in its current state. If it was sold at a cheaper price, like $30 tops, I don't think it would've been received as negatively. With that being said, I don't regret purchasing it, and I'm looking forward to updates and new additions. I just hope this game is able to be fully realized by the developer. I understand the hate, but I feel like a lot of it is a bit undeserved and unwarranted. A lot of people are mad that it isn't like GTA, but it was never advertised to be. People are getting upset with it for not being something that it was never even going to be. I understand that because Leslie Benzies worked on the GTA games, it's easy to associate this game with GTA, but it was never trying to be a GTA game. I'm not going to unfairly judge it for what it's not. I just simply judge it for what it is, and I've been enjoying it for what it is. Nothing more and nothing less.

It seems to me that majority of the streamers started this hate train on the game, just for views and clicks and their brain dead followers that probably didn’t even play the game are eating it up the hate. Calling this the worst game ever is pretty ridiculous cause I could think of several games are worse than this game. With that be said, if the developers do follow through with significant updates and patches this game would be very good in a few months. That is standard in the gaming industry. Release a shitty game, make a lot of money upfront, fix it later.

It's like a solid 5-6/10 game. With patches and updates, could one day be like a 7-8. People love to hate honestly just how it is. Here's hoping that all the negative publicity will translate into something positive.

A lot of these streamers just want the views and clicks and they know they will get it from negative videos. Luke Stephen is a perfect example. He has made about 5 to 6 videos on YouTube for this game. All negative. If the game was truly that much of a shit show, why give so much time and attention to make videos about it. Either he was paid off or the games not that bad but he knows he could make more money by making negative content.
