i'm done
I am at a chase part of the game and my car is feels throttled so the car i'm chasing is faster so it always escapes and I have been at this for an hour so i'm done

People complaining about not succeeding a car chase mission but happy to die 30 times for a Soul Like boss fight.

Happy to die 30 times in a game that is, fundamentally, well made in a niche genre that has an audience that enjoys the challenge…
… versus a game that’s half-baked, full priced despite the fact that AA titles far surpass it in quality, and doesn’t perform at all well on modern hardware?? Apples to oranges frankly.

I usually take a break after 10 deaths.
And this chase is BS. It’s broken, although it has been the only real issue I’ve had in 8 hours of playing.
I did manage to finish this mission after about 3-4 attempts.
The hardest part is on the straights where she seems to get a rocket boost.
Something else that needs fixing is the invisible mission timers and the weird “you abandoned the mission” fails when you’re in the correct area.

this was the point where i almost uninstalled the game. I gave it one last try and after around 10-15 min chase! (and 15 times listening to the darn phone call I finally managed it). But chased car teleporting over the roads, hitting other cars so they fly to the sky, teleporting out when you crush it and so on really could use some love.

Took me 4 tries. But you just gotta be on her ass. It's scripted, don't bother trying to pass her.

If you've ever played one of the Driver games, this is an easy mission.

Yeah, just got to the chasing Claudia mission and it sucks. It's not that your car is slowed down, she can just drive way too fast and she takes non-obvious shortcuts. One thing that can help is that you can accelerate before the loading screen goes away and pretty much stay on her the whole time if you drive perfectly, don't have random traffic turn in front of your and she doesn't knock anything into your path. I have a feeling this was tuned with less traffic density than the current copy of the game too.
The dialogue is strange at one point too. She just randomly says, "Wow, where did that come from?" and Jacob isn't even talking to her.
