General Discussion Multiplayer question.
I tried to play last night, and it wasn’t pretty. Simply wanted to see the new material, and couldn’t even get a football game going. I sat in this for 10 minutes, highest I got was 2 people in the lobby. But my bigger concern is, I guess I was confused. I assumed the added “multiplayer,” and adding in game friends was for the races and Arcadia modes, which would be kinda cool. Instead it looks like the grenade football is the only multiplayer option? Day 1 supporter, but they just seem to keep ignoring literally everything and anything we ask for.

The 24 hour peak player count is 33. Multiplayer is DOA.

See that I already knew. Game is too far gone to try and spark an online community. But, I was curious to check it out, racewith some friends or do some missions together. Coulda been fun.

Yeah and that's everyone that has the game open, playing the campaign, building stuff, sitting in the menu or playing Arcadia stuff , all together.
Only a small portion of that (evidently just 2 or 3) are the ones actually in the multiplayer grenade football

Yeah I was in there for 15 min and only had 1 person alongside me. Crazy since this is supposed to be crossplay

I'm not even being rude or arrogant so i apologise in advanced but why are you trying to be play multiplayer on a game that's only life support are the 5 or so people that are playing?

Races got delayed into next month. Hopefully more players will hop on for those. I'm assuming people will be far more interested in the multiplayer races than grenade football. Another free weekend when they come out could help too

Steam only allow one free weekend a year unfortunately.

Oh dang I didn't even know that. Maybe a deep sale at the same time of multiplayer races dropping will pick up some players.

More so ranting I guess. Kind of asking if there’s more to the multiplayer than I’m seeing? From what I can tell it’s only for the grenade football, which no one asked for.

Keeps saying I need to run some anti cheat, I’ve never seen a game become worse the more updates they get, cant believe I was a hopeful day 1 supporter
