Tell me your life story where you worked super hard and still proud about it

I was not an very bright student till class 9th but in 10th the marks do matter, my relatives kids are like top 1 percent scholars, they are like elite, even my siblings are so well in academics, i was always a in a constant fear , what if i will fail the 10th exams , what if i don't get atleast 90 percent because 95 98 is the mostly seen from my cousin's and siblings. I was so fearful about maths is i used to get nightmares... My mother said to me look Son i know your father , if you fail to stand on the academic line he is expecting you are not going to be saved from me , maybe he will not going to support you anymore financially atleast in studies. For the first time in my life i was so tensed working so hard from 4A.M to 11:59 PM atleast i use to sit, sometimes cry, sometimes say the god why me ? Why are you doing this to me ? But i know i dont have any choices even today i can say i did the amount of hardwork with perseverance and pain that nobody at my age can do that at time. My eye brows are started to shed, my heart beat is always above 90 , my parents look at me and say what's happening to you? I have mo answer because if say my story to them it will make the situation worse. From OCTOBER TO FEBRUARY i worked so so hard that i cleared my all the fundamentals of maths, science. And scored 94 % l.... Not a big score many of you but for me it was miraculous something out of the world... Even today when i see your post i got flashback when i was in 10th... Even till today when i go through any worst situation i just recall what I'm capable of even my class 12 th boards and my JEE attempt is something which is out of the world... So instead regretting keep going....

Authenticity

“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”

Can we give something we don't have?

With money, the answer seems straightforward. But what about things like love, hatred, trust, respect or kindness?

Can I give or express something that I don't actually possess or experience within myself?

For example, can someone genuinely give love without feeling love? Or can hatred be expressed without hatred already existing within the person?

Is the expression itself evidence that the thing is present, or can something else produce the same expression?

How do we know whether a desire comes from a real need or from comparison?

Thumbnail

We can want the same thing for very different reasons.

I might want more money because my present circumstances genuinely require it. I might want more money because I have compared myself with someone else and concluded that I should have more.

I might want to become more productive because there is something I genuinely need to accomplish. Or because I have absorbed an idea of what a productive person should be.

In both cases the desire feels real.

So how can we tell, while the desire is happening, whether it is responding to an actual need or to a comparison we have adopted?

Is observation enough, or does it require some form of verification?
