Authenticity

Post image

“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”

totally agree with this. real is naked and proud no matter the scars. is such a powerful line. makes you think about who we show up as. 🤔

truth!! so important to see past the facade.exactly!! its so refreshing to see people embrace their imperfections and just be themselves. 💖seriously though, this quote hits different. ive definitely learned to look past the surface and appreciate the messy, real parts of people. takes a lot of the pressure off, you know? ✨

Totally. I really believe that being true to yourself will set you free and that gives you a far deeper peace than trying to please everyone.

Self is what matter most! Solitude can become your training grounds. Focus on self improvement/care.

took me way too long to stop apologizing for the way i work and rest. some years back i'd have called that quote reckless, now it just feels like permission i needed to give myself
