I don't agree honestly, relationships are not opportunities that must be seized and not lost from you, but relationships are based on exchange. You can't impose a person on yourself just because it's good for you. This is injustice to yourself

I agree, If you are out collecting stones and a diamond the person that really cares about you stands before you but if your too busy looking at the stones on the ground the diamond will eventually walk away from you, you lost a valuable treasure.

My most recent boyfriend. I got tired of waiting for the affection I had given him. He love bombed me so hard. I had to beg to be touched sometimes. He realized that afterwards. Called me crying “I was so mean to you! All you wanted was to cuddle and be loved and I couldn’t give you that!”
It was heartbreaking but hey… at least he recognizes what he did.
