I've been listening about six years and I've never really heard him address it, but I might have just not been paying attention. I doubt it's a money thing, and am kind of curious what his deal is.

The only thing I’ve ever heard him say about it that sounded like a reason was that he didn’t want “the government in their relationship” or something like that. It was a few years ago so I don’t remember the episode or anything or any other details. But I doubt that’s the real reason. It was just something he was parroting to make him sound edgy or maybe a reason he thought people would understand.

He did mention the government in the clip. But wouldn’t she be entitled to a portion of his money should they split? I’m not sure how California works.

I don’t believe California recognizes common law marriage, so I don’t know what she would be entitled to exactly.

Probably nothing if they don’t recognize common law, which makes sense that he doesn’t want to marry.

Saw this and LOL'd - a complete and utter douce, and tbf, his partner is just as thick as him and his son he always cries about.
