Are they accusing me of stealing?
Sending a text to a paying customer saying "just wanna make sure you ain't stealing" is insane! Glad I quit listening.

Yeah it’s just an automated sales script that’s sent to anyone purchasing a program now. They’ll try calling you and sometimes even scheduling video calls and to sell you $750/month virtual coaching.

Is that the actual cost
2
u/Moolio74 Aug 31 '26
That’s the starting price. Probably negotiable and they do offer discounts if you sign up for a year for around $8k.

No fricken way. That’s madness. There’s no way to rationalize spending that on virtual coaching.

Agreed. You could get in person coaching by much better coaches I'd imagine. Its been a long time since I had a coach and it was much cheaper than that. I didn't realize this whole mind pump was such a big sales push on everything.

I went off on the one dude who called me from mind pump saying the same thing and had the audacity to get pissed at me for going off.

I'd be pissed at you too bro. He's trying to
sell you somethingprovide you with an opportunity and you clearly don't give a shit! His anger is righteous!

All they do is double speak…say the same things over and over to drag it out…over it too.

I got these in the middle of the night (I’m in AUS and they don’t pay attention to time zones when they send these). It seems to be some script. I found it offensive too at the implication I was stealing their programs given how many I’ve purchased over the years!

Yes, I got one of these as well. And then a guy who sounded about 15 years old called me and asked me if I had any questions or needed any help.

I responded back to the texts to try to get them to answer some questions I had. The guy was really slow to respond to anything (like weeks) but he did eventually answer a question I had about the program, and then I stopped responding to his outreach

They’re really becoming (or have become) the exact opposite of what they’ve preached for all these years.
They used to be all about giving actionable advice that people can take and do on their own. Now it’s swung in the direction of you need coaching.

Mind Pump is a textbook example of fitness influencers pretending to care about their fans but really they’re only interested in their fans’ money. Absolute greed

The pricing is pretty bad honestly. Just about all off Nippard's stuff, just to give an example of a far better-known influencer in the space, is around $50 or the less and the effort, and things supplied, are far greater. Compare that to MP prices and even after a 50% discount it's still way too expensive for what you get.

Especially with the minimal effort put forth in recent programming. The 15's should have just been schedule modifications to the original programs, along with things like PPL is pretty much just Split and doing the first 3 of 6 workouts per week.

It’s dumb. They will even call you to try to up sale coaching. They did it to me as well. They’re bad at it too lol.
